Welcome to St. Philip’s via our website! We are delighted that you found us and hope that you will find answers to your questions as you peruse the various pages.
We are a community of faith in the Episcopal tradition and have been a congregation in the northeast part of Jackson since 1963. St. Philip’s is a mix of young and old, life long Episcopalians and those who have discovered us.
We have a variety of gifts, one of which is our rich tradition in which our choir offers their gift of singing the stories of our faith. We are proud not only of our talented choir but the ways in which the congregation and choir join together to proclaim our faith. Our Adult and Children’s Formation program explores our tradition and liturgy and the ways we interact in the world God made for us.
St. Philippians enjoy being with one another in casual settings and in works of outreach in the community. We gather for Bible Study, Wednesday Night Suppers and Programs, and annual events like our Blue Grass Mass and Goat Roast, Pentecost Crawfish Celebration, and the Christmas Dickens Feast.
We would love to know more about you so that we can tell you more about who we are and what we believe. If you have any questions about St. Philip’s once you look around our website, please call the church office - or join us for worship! We look forward to seeing you soon.
